Welcome to Ruff House Adventures! We are a woman-owned business, and have created a place where your dog can run and play with friends while you’re out for the day.

At Ruff House Adventures, your dog will enjoy fun and learning in a clean, professional, and caring environment. Imagine your dog having fun with new friends, learning to think and problem solve, or even learning how to behave better. Imagine being so proud when your dog can greet people without jumping, hiding or barking!

Ruff House Adventures Day Care is designed by dog trainers who know what it takes to keep your pet happy:

physical exercise - jumping and playing - instead of sitting at home alone howling at the unseen moon
mental stimulation by making new doggy friends instead of being home alone bored and exhibiting destructive or undesirable behaviors
several scheduled breaks from the other dogs in their own private space
each private space comes with a Kuranda Dog Bed, a private water bowl and peanut butter Kong that no other dog shares

Most dogs were bred originally to do a job. Without a job to do, the dog is: chewing everything; jumping fences; getting into the trash or a litter box; or even stealing things off the counter. Are you ready to enrich your dog's life, and your own, by teaching better behaviors that will give your dog more freedom?

After attending the Ruff House Adventures' Day School you will have a well trained pet. Imagine friends coming over and your dog will be waiting to greet them instead of jumping all over them as they enter. Imagine walking your dog in the park and them walking beside you without pulling you around. Imagine having a reliable dog.

Do you live within 30 minutes of our location? We can also offer you one-on-one lessons for you and your dog in the privacy of your own home.

We care. We meet each dog where they are. Training is tailored to your dog. The trainer will help you select the best training option to achieve a reliable dog. All dogs are good dogs, but not all dogs are well trained.

Need to Know

Vaccination Requirements

For the Health and Safety of all dogs

In Home lesson dogs must be current on:

Rabies
DHPP (distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, parainfluenza)

All Day School, Daycare, Grooming, Board and Training, Boarding, and Private Lesson dogs must be current on:

Flea prevention
Rabies
Bordetella
DHPP (distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, parainfluenza

Vaccine records are required because the dogs will be in direct contact with each other. We want to ensure all dogs are and remain healthy!

Details

Daycare

Evaluation Day is required for all dogs before signing up for a regular schedule.
Packages can be purchased to get a discounted rate.

Boarding

Boarding is available at our Coatesville location
We also offer single-day rates

Training Options:

A consultation with the trainer is required to determine which training program will work best for you ($20 fee).

Day School

Drop your dog off at our facility for the day
Our trainer works with your dog during the day
Your dog gets to participate in playgroups
You get a lesson with the trainer when you pick up your dog

Board and Train

Drop your dog off at our facility for 3-6 weeks
Our trainer works with your dog during the day
Our educated kennel tech staff watches after your dog when he/she is not training
Your dog will participate in playgroups or individual play depending on your goals
You will have 3-6 lessons before and after your dog goes home

Private Lessons

Held in our facility
We work one-on-one with the owner to teach the dog what it needs to learn

In-home Lessons

Held in your home, where we teach dogs in their own environment
We can involve the entire family in training
There is less contact with other dogs and other people
Client must live within 30 minutes of the facility
